About Me

My name is Javelle McKenzie and I am a public relations major at the University of North Texas. I am minoring in Marketing and I'm looking forward to working in the film industry. Writing and storytelling have always been a key part of my identity. In fact, I'm currently working on my own fantasy novel.

I first discovered my love for journalism my freshman year of high school, when I enrolled in a broadcasting class. I quickly found myself drawn to students with compelling stories and unique perspectives. However, it wasn't until I started my own podcast that I realized this would be my career. What started off as a mild interest, turned into a lifelong passion.

 

In school, the one thing that has always set me apart from my peers is my drive and determination. Despite the many hardships I have encountered in my life, I have always persevered and overcome my odds.

When I am not writing, I spend the majority of my time drawing, playing video games and watching movies.
